Have you ever felt like you were ready for something, but it just wasn’t happening? Maybe you’ve prayed, worked hard, and done everything right, but nothing is changing. Its tough, isn’t it? But here’s the truth—God’s timing is always perfect, even when it doesn’t feel that way.
Why Does God Make Us Wait?
Waiting doesn’t mean God has forgotten you. Sometimes, He is protecting you. Other times, He is preparing you. Just because you don’t see anything happening doesn’t mean He isn’t working behind the scenes.
Think about Joseph in the Bible. God gave him a dream, but before he became a leader, he spent years as a slave and even went to prison. It looked like everything was going wrong, but God was setting him up for something bigger. If Joseph had reached his destiny too soon, he wouldn’t have been ready for it.
What Should You Do While You Wait?
1. Trust God’s Plan - His ways are better than ours, even when we don’t understand them (Isaiah 55:8-9).
2. Keep Growing - Use this time to learn, grow, and become the person God is shaping you to be.
3. Stay Close to God - Pray, read the Bible, and worship. When you stay connected to Him, the waiting won't feel as hard.
4. Celebrate Others - If someone else gets what you’re waiting for, be happy for them. Their blessing doesn’t take away from yours.

Your Time Is Coming
Habakkuk 2:3 says, “At the right time, it will happen. Wait for it. It will come at the perfect time.”
God has a plan for you, and it’s good! When the time is right, things will fall into place. Until then, trust Him, keep growing, and know that when your blessing comes, it will be worth the wait!
